Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a LeadEngineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Annapolis Junction, MD.
Roles and Responsibilities:
In collaboration with the capture team, program delivery teams and structured customer engagements, thisSoftware engineer will identify key customer hard problems, design technical discriminators, and help develop the overall solution approach that prepares our existing programs for follow-on work.The Leadwill develop engineering artifacts, collaborate with program system engineers, write white papers and work with existing R&D teams to develop new discriminating capabilities.
14+ years' of experience in leading large programs or technicaltask orders in a Program Management, Capture and/or Lead Engineeringrole
Very strong written & oral communication skills
Prior experience leading or supporting capture teams
Experience supporting the Intelligence Community
Ability to obtain or maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph
Experience supporting mission analysts
Experience with continuous integration processes and technologies
Large scale enterprise system and data-flow modeling
Experience aligning current mission needs with technology research and concept exploration.
Current PMP Certification
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
