Responsible for receipt, qualification, and processing of referrals. Ensure all data elements are present prior to processing. Exceed the expectations for customers and managers. Provide service to internal and external customers ensuring adequate information is received in a complete, courteous, and compliant manner. Assist customers by providing guidance for coverage requirements and ensuring all aspects of care needed have been addressed and offered. Respond to customer inquiries and follow through for completion. Coordinate daily referrals and follow up to ensure service expectations are met. Accurate data entry of orders and set up of customer/patient files within TIMS. Maintain referral log for tracking of orders and 'closing the loop' to ensure all requests have been responded to. Complete documentation within systems for receipt of orders for processing. Maintain current working knowledge of reimbursement and regulatory requirements for acceptance of orders.
knowledge of medical terminology, preferred
knowledge of customer service principles and service expectations
3 years customer service required
customer service experience working with clinical patients to include oxygen, ventilator & tracheostomypreferred
durable medical equipment experience preferred
experience working in a call center preferred
