Robert Half Technologies is hiring for a Help Desk Technician role on a contract to fulltime position. Please apply by sending over your resume to my email Job Description: Under general supervision, the Desktop/Help Desk Technician will provide outstanding Customer Service to the agency employees. They will provide technical software, hardware and network problem resolution to all help desk requests performing detailed problem diagnosis and guiding users through step-by-step solutions; provide support to staff on all company-supported applications; clearly communicate technical solutions in a user friendly, detail oriented manner, conduct hardware and software inventory and maintain the inventory database in an accurate and timely manner. RESPONSIBILITIES: ?Act as the first point of contact for all users ? Investigates user problems and identifies their source; determines possible solutions; tests and implements solutions. ? Performs and/or oversees software and application installation and upgrades. ? Setup and configure laptop desktop PC?s, Tablets and Smartphones ? Maintain desktop LaserJet printers ? Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining all IT equipment inventory, maintaining users in Active Directory, updating knowledge base as well as how to documentation for end users ? Other tasks as the need arises
