Kforce Systems Administrator in Baltimore, Maryland

Kforce has a client in the Baltimore, Maryland (MD) area who is seeking a Systems Administrator to start immediately.Responsibilities include:

  • Provides customer-focused systems management to over 400 PC-based users in a high paced on-line transaction processing and document-imaging Insurance environment

  • Receives and prioritizes system administration work, project-oriented tasks, and service desk requests of varying severity

  • Documents issues via service desk and document repository

  • Manages and resolves all issues within accepted service levels

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT related field

  • 6 - 8 years of relevant experience required for those without a Bachelor's degree

  • 2 - 4 years of experience working in Help Desk / Systems Administration function responsible for security, reliability, performance, and uptime

  • Microsoft MCP or relevant certification or greater required (Windows 2008/7 or greater preferred)
