IP product owner for leading edge SerDes IP from development through customer(s) production ramp
Define the design high level requirements and specifications (with Marketing)
Work with SerDes architects to drive an innovative solution that optimizes both performance and development schedule
Along with program management, develop and maintain project plan that has buy-in from key resource skill owners (P&R, layout, verification, etc.)
Manage flow-down block level specifications (with global technical team)
Drive project execution with a large global design team
Participate in strategic decision making to maximize team productivity
Provide support to silicon validation and customer support
Knowledge of major SerDes protocols (PCIe, USB3, CEI-28G, 100GBase-KR4, etc.)
Thorough understanding of high speed mixed-signal tradeoffs (digital / analog issues)
Relevant SerDes design experience
Leading edge process technology knowledge
Silicon validation testing knowledge
Solid people management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
MS/PhD EE degree with 15+ years of analog design industry experience
