Northrop Grumman Cyber Intelligence Analyst 4 in Columbia, Maryland

Conducts research and evaluates technical and all-source intelligence with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to networked weapons platforms and US and DoD information networks. Analyzes network events to determine the impact on current operations and conduct all-source research to determine advisory capability and intent. Prepares assessments and cyber threat profiles of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open source information. Correlates threat data from various sources. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations. Collects data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes. Produces high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and network operations officials.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a data analyst

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline with 9 years of experience

  • Experience in both Offensive and Defensive Cyberspace operations

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to successfully participate in a collaborative team environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communications skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and in writing) with team members, managers, and clients on highly-complex and difficult engineering/software issues pertaining to assigned tasks.

  • TS/SCI withCounter Intelligence Poly required to be considered

  • US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cyber Data Analyst

  • 10 years of experience as a data analyst

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university

  • 5 years of experience in data analytics disciplines may be substituted for a bachelor's degree

  • Possess a TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance

  • Experience in supporting a Security Ops Center

  • Experience in deriving indicators of compromise

  • Experience in both Offensive and Defensive Cyberspace operations.
