VCA South Arundel Animal Hospital is a small animal practice in Edgewater, Maryland—located just outside of Annapolis.

VCA South Arundel Animal Hospital is seeking a seasoned P/T Associate Veterinarian to join our thriving multi-doctor practice in Edgewater, Maryland, located just outside of Annapolis.

We are hoping to find a doctor who excels in medicine, dentistry and surgery, can effectively educate clients on the health and well-being of their pets, and is a team player. We also have a growing exotics patient base, so if you can care for them as well as dogs and cats, that would be a plus.

Additionally, if you are interested in holistic modalities or want to learn more, many of our clients want a doctor who can relate to them, providing alternative options and nutrition counseling.

You will have access to any and all of the equipment you need to practice the best medicine. We have an in-house laboratory, digital dental and whole body radiography, ultrasound, laser therapy, intensive care units for exotics, you name it!

Our History: South Arundel Veterinary Hospital is an award-winning AAFP Certified Cat Friendly full-service practice that is much loved by the community it has served for over 50 years. A support staff of 25 talented individuals round out the South Arundel team, many of whom have been with the practice over 15 years.

Our Philosophy: Through empowerment and training, our doctors and staff provide compassionate and exceptional medical care for pets and education for their owners. Every colleague makes it his/her mission to help pets live long, healthy lives. The doctors treat cats, dogs, birds, pocket pets and other exotic animals. Holistic and other alternative therapies are also offered at the practice.

Requirements:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.

  • Maryland License in good standing (or eligibility for licensure)
