Provides service repairs on all types of flooring installations, tile installations, or other building materials.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Follows instructions from flooring field install manager regarding repair of flooring materials.

  • Works with flooring field supervisors and other service technicians to install/repair flooring materials such as hardwoods, tile, etc… or other products as assigned and trained.

  • Follows manufacturer directions and warranty requirements when installing/repairing products.

  • Operates all machinery in safe and responsible manner.

  • Follows all company policies and procedures.

  • Provides quality customer service.

  • Attends all training to learn new technology of flooring materials and installation methods as required by location management.

  • Other duties as assigned by location management.

  • Cross-train in other areas to expand knowledge and expertise.

Required Skills

  • Minimum education required: High school diploma or GED.

  • Special skills required: Read and use a measuring tape and other basic tools.

  • Other- Valid Class C Driver’s license required for all service Techs who are required to perform work outside the location.

  • Other: Good interpersonal skills, ability to follow detailed instructions.

Required Experience

  • Minimum experience required: 2 to 5 years in flooring repair industry.

  • Must have own reliable truck/van transportation.
