The Deputy Program Manager for Domestic Programs is responsible for oversight of the day to day operations of domestic program. The DPM is responsible for operational and administrative oversight and compliance of all contracts. The normal operation of the command, such as theft, robbery, riot, lawlessness, demonstrations, etc.
Receive and execute tasks on behalf of the VP of Domestic Progams, such technical directions as the VP/DP may issue within the terms and conditions of contracts.
Receive, review and file daily reports from the field
Coordinate personnel licensing processes and manage communications with jurisdictional agencies
Coordinate communications relating to the hiring of new personnel between the PMs and HR/Training/Finance/IT/etc
Assist in Business Development/Capture activities as needed
Assist in the daily administrative functions of Domestic Programs (DP)
Attend internal meetings on behalf of DP
Manage the electronic file program for DP
Act as a point of contact for the PMs to coordinate and troubleshoot administrative and personnel issues
Attend industry days associated with new RFP opportunities on behalf of DP
Facilitate the delivery of sensitive packages/documents between DP and current or prospective clients
Participate in new contract startups and transitions
Auditing personnel files for proper documentation uploads, statuses, start dates, term dates, etc.
Overtime tracking for the program
Tracking candidates/employees for hiring and training
The DPM shall be fully capable of managing and supervising the numbers of personnel on DP contracts. Must possess effective communications skills, both written and oral.
Ability to meet the needs of the program, management, and the clients. Ability to multitask and remain focused on the overall mission under stressful situations. Ability to produce clear and accurate reports, procedures and policies.
Prior experience managing a large, complex government security contracts is preferred. Familiarity with HR programs to include Deltek, Valiant, Vision, etc. Security clearance up to TS.

Work is based in a busy training environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Normal work hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 to 5:00, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Travel will be required, 25-50%.
Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 100 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.
