The Deputy Program Manager will assist in the transition and transformation efforts to execute the Department of Defense background investigative mission. This individual will oversee strategic planning support, communication support, writing support, and analytic support. In addition, the Program Manager will oversee a major logistics and facility physical move, as well as the strategic planning of the organization’s human capital transition. This individual will serve as principal point of representation and liaison with external constituencies on operational matters, and provides day-to-day professional guidance and leadership as appropriate to the area of expertise.

What you will need:

  • Degree

  • 15 years’ experience in operation planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program/project

  • 3 years’ experience in personnel security, (processing background investigations or security clearances )

  • Familiarity with DoD personnel security policies and HSPD-12

  • Active high level security clearance

  • PMP

Professional Qualifications:

  • Training and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of software

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
