GDIT is hiring a Project Management Support Specialist- Medical Devices in support of the United States Army Medical Material Development Activity (USAMMDA) located at Ft Detrick, MD. The product management support will include the following tasks:

  • Provide project management support to various Medical Devices Advanced Development efforts. Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to include scheduling meetings and preparing agendas, related documentation, and minutes.

  • Successfully communicate with personnel at various echelons through the use of effective interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Support numerous efforts and effectively prioritize and multi-task requirements that have a direct impact on the product portfolio.

  • Support all major initiatives to advance product development and associated activities.

  • Assist with programmatic and technical document review, market research, and vendor site visits/demonstrations.

  • Assist in portfolio financial management by performing budget analysis and contract support in regards to deliverables and periods of performance.

  • Participate in various meetings both internally and externally to the organization.

  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology and industry developments.

  • Support the DoD Acquisition Lifecycle and document preparation.

  • Participates in special projects as required.


  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.


  • 5-8 years of related experience in project management and knowledge of medical devices, preferred.

  • Based on contract requirements, US cititzenship is required with the ability to obtain a favorable T1 investigation prior to first day of employment.

  • Travel required (potentially 2-3 day trips every couple months).
