Position Summary:

The Associate Project Manager is responsible for providing full administrative support to the Partner School Leadership (PSLT) and Partner School Success (PSS) teams, as well as manage projects for those teams. Duties will include meeting coordination, documentation,

project administration, reporting, tracking of milestones, and stakeholder engagement. It requires strong attention to detail, and adhering to strict processes to ensure smooth delivery of all projects in conjunction with delivery teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Launch, execute, and successfully complete cross-functional projects on time, within budget, and at an expected level of quality

  • Develop project plans that include standard project launch documentation including concept/vision, project charter/scope, and project schedule

  • Provide direct support to Business Owner and Project Stakeholders, leading project collaboration, weekly status meetings and reporting, schedule tracking, issue tracking and resolution, risk tracking and mitigation, budget development, cost tracking and

reporting, deliverable tracking, and communications

  • Measure work progress against project schedules, report updates and variances, and deliver measurable results

  • Work with the project team members to proactively identify, mitigate and/or resolve project risks/issues

  • Develop and organize briefings, presentations and meeting invites for PSLT and PSS teams

  • Works with PSS and PSLT leads to identify and coordinate the completion of upcoming work

  • Support the PSLT to deliver academic performance outcomes (state testing/accountability, course completion, graduation rate) for schools;

  • Support the PSLT and the schools to maximize funded enrollment to meet state requirements (count day, attendance, course completion, ADM, etc).

  • Share in the leadership/planning of all school related meetings and retreats;

  • Assumes other Administrative duties, as needed.

Requirements

  • 2 – 4 years project management (or comparable) experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Extensive experience using MS Office Suite with emphasis on Excel, Access, SharePoint, and Google Suite

  • Internet and email skills required
