The Underground Utilities Repair Department is looking for a project assistant, to work directly with the Senior Operations Manager. We are searching for a project assistant that has experience in underground utilities, primarily Sewer, Water and Storm Drainage. Must be highly motivated, have knowledge of the construction industry through field experience.

Responsibilities

  • Be professional and establish customer rapport, encouraging repeat business

  • Review Contracts, and estimator notes to compile finalized Contract Package

  • Work directly with technician on scheduling, material list, and special request needed for contract work

  • Involved in 20+ projects simultaneously

  • Rapid response to customer requests, resolving issues and promoting the brand

  • Update customers throughout the day on the technician’s progress

  • Multiple department coordination and pulling of permits

  • Participate in ongoing training to boost sales and ensure quick, accurate dispatch of incoming orders

  • Partner with Project coordinator on tine tuning details

    Requirements

  • 2-5 years underground utilities/construction experience

  • Proven track record in outstanding customer service

  • IT competent and proficient with phone systems

  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communications

  • Ability to build trust, diffuse conflict and hold others accountable

  • Engaging personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment

  • Competitive individual contributor who also loves to win as a team

  • Highly motivated, flexible and great attitude

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is a plus
