PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT SPECIALIST
BON SECOURS HEALTH SYSTEM - MARRIOTTSVILLE
Plans, coordinates and conducts a variety of Performance Improvement projects, initiatives, activities and training across the health system focused on, but not limited to, clinical transformation and patient flow. Performance Improvement activities and training are based upon identified needs at both the local system and system-wide levels, aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Process Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Lean Six Sigma Certification from respected certifying body is required.
Minimum three (3) years of proven experience developing, facilitating and sustaining performance improvement initiatives and activities.
Previous experience with word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, databases, and presentation software.
Knowledge of statistics, statistical process control, and information systems. Prior experience in health care is desirable.
Work requires strong team building and interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with multiple parties, including senior level executives. Displays a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
Ability to work independently, as well as in a matrix team, retaining flexibility and composure under pressure; acute attention to detail and accuracy.
Work requires a high level of data analysis and problem-solving skills necessary in order to plan, organize, and coordinate programs. Ability to lead and teach others to use performance management tools and processes.
