The Senior Quality Nurse Coordinator is responsible for the daily oversight and management of the regulated quality metrics. This includes staff and provider education program development, implementation, and evaluation; as well as oversight of interdisciplinary collaboration for optimal patient care and safety. Direct the development and revision of policies, procedures, standards & expectations for the risk assessment, prevention and management of the regulated quality metrics (Hospital Acquired Conditions, Hospital Acquired Infections, Mortality, Sepsis. Implement and reinforce policies, procedures, standards and expectations in collaboration with physician and nursing leaders. Ensure compliance with established best practices and standards. Requirements: Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline. Maryland Registered Nurse License. 7 years experience preferred.
