Alternative Payment Model Compliance Analyst

Key Role:

Support regulatory compliance work for projects with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Advanced Payment Models (APMs). Maintain responsibility for various audit, oversight, and monitoring projects for relevant APMs, including program analysis, performance and reporting review, and overall project management of various compliance projects. Plan and manage all aspects of small- to medium-sized client engagements and discreet segments of larger projects. Delegate assignments to staff, instruct and monitor progress, and review work product for completeness and accuracy. Generate client deliverables, make valuable contributions to expert reports, manage client relationships, and communicate results and work product, as appropriate. Contribute to business development initiatives and administrative functions, including staff training and recruiting.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with a focus on healthcare management or healthcare audits and compliance

-Ability to manage assignments and organize tasks logically

-Ability to learn new areas of expertise and pay strict attention to detail

-Ability to conduct research, synthesize information, and present findings or recommendations

-Ability to manage processes and consultants

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with healthcare organizations, federal officials, states, and other relevant stakeholders on payment models

-Experience with successful project management

-Ability to show subject matter expertise in various Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) payment models, including BPCI or BPCI-A, CPC+, and OCM

-Ability to work successfully both individually or in collaboration with others

-Ability to work in a team environment

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BS or BBA degree in Healthcare Policy or a related field preferred; MBA, MA, MS, or JD degree in Healthcare Policy or a related field a plus
