Lockheed Martin Engineering Manager / Energy Efficiency / Rockville, MD in Rockville, Maryland

Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking an energy or mechanical engineering leader with experience in energy efficiency technology implementation, inspections and calculation of energy savings for the Commercial and Industrial sector in Maryland. These technologies can include lighting, building controls, HVAC, and refrigeration. Candidate must lead with integrity, be detail-oriented, have strong analytical skills and demonstrate the capacity to handle multiple projects and roles.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Leading energy analysis of energy efficiency measure calculations using standard or predefined energy analysis tools and methodology

• Managing desk and field engineering staff

• Implementing the tactics to achieve the annual and cycle strategic objectives and goals

• Leading the design and implementing the training of QA/QC activities

• Working with all work-groups to establish and support appropriate level of technical assistance required for all internal initiatives

• Determining cost-effectiveness of identified energy efficiency measures and eligibility for financial incentives based on regulatory requirements

• Identifying energy efficiency technologies and energy savings studies/financial analysis to support development of prescriptive measures

• Shape technical content and offer continuous process improvements to internal work-groups and external stakeholders when necessary.

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university.
